Dr Ovi Kintobor was an Old-ish Scientist that wanted to trap all the evil of Mobuis into Seven Emeralds. One day as he was working in his Lab when a Brown Sonic appeared. Sonic agreed to help the Doctor in his work and when he was testing the Doctors 'Power Sneakers' he broke the machine and turned Blue. After working for a while, they got Hungry and the Doctor went to get something to eat but all he had was an old egg. He went to freshen it up when he tripped over a wire and fell into this ROCC (Retro Orbital Chaos Compressor) machine and all the Evil he was trying to Store in the Emeralds went into him, this mixing with the egg created Dr Ivo Robotnik (renamed after the letters on his name tag changed). Some point, Kintobor made a Hologram of himself to make his computer easier to use (See Kintobor Computer). The Next Time Kintobor Appear, we found out that Sonic HAD to go back in time and trip up Kintobor to make Robotnik, to stop a great evil from taking over Mobuis. Kintobor next appeared when Sonic was going after Robotnik to the Atom sized world of Shanzar, where he found that Robotnik had somehow turned back into Kintobor BUT he appeared to need to take medicine in order to stay as Kintobor. When on a mission with Sonic, he wasn't able to take it in time and turned back into Robotnik.
