Didn’t quite get as many finished yesterday as Expected but Got the witch done ^_^<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and lets see what’s up for Miss Green’s first real day of Adventure<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miss Green comes across an apple tree, much like one her sister found some time ago, but this one appears to be French! not only can she eat them (which she does and restore her Endurance to full as she is only on 4) but she takes one with her and it turns to gold! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

wait? you don’t know why French? The apple is said to be Golden and Delicious and I remember (well. okay, I wasn’t alive then but still) in 1980 there was a huge scandal (well.. kinda) when the French Golden Delicious apples (originally meant to be a strain from the USA) entered the UK market and lead to a hit on the price of English apples and the Apple Action Committee deemed them ‘Sub-standard’ and lead to reforming the Apple and Pear Development council, 12th October becoming ‘Apple Day’ and questions in the house of commons about how bad those french apples were compared to the British apple. Basically, the French were selling us ‘rejects’ cheap and it lead to some problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

now.. how do I know these are French and not English or anything else? The apples on the tree are Red. Golden Delicious apples are a light yellow-green ^_^ How about that for a bit of botany history for today?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyway.. While this would have saved her sister from passing out, it’s still useful for Miss Green who carries on the straight path to the final two days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
